According to the provincial People's Committee, the storm caused losses exceeding 5.9 trillion VND (around USD 236 million), marking the most serious damage in recent years. Local authorities and emergency forces immediately deployed relief operations, including rebuilding homes, repairing infrastructure, restoring essential services, cleaning up affected areas, and providing social support.

At the ceremony, General Director Nguyễn Xuân Thắng represented Hoang Anh Gia Lai’s leadership and employees, conveying sympathy and encouragement to affected communities. He expressed hope that the donation would help residents quickly stabilize their lives and overcome post-storm challenges.

Trần Thị Hảo, Chief of Office of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Gia Lai, thanked the company for its timely support and solidarity, noting that the funds would be allocated transparently, prioritizing the hardest-hit locations.

As of now, the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front has received more than 163 billion VND (about USD 6.5 million), excluding goods, from organizations, businesses, agencies, and philanthropists across the country to support ongoing recovery efforts.
