The tourism product survey was organized by the Gia Lai Provincial People’s Committee in coordination with the Vietnam Tourism Association as part of the second Vietnam Travel Day 2026.
International travel companies from South Korea, Japan, China, Thailand, Singapore, India, Malaysia and the Philippines joined domestic travel agencies, tourism service providers and tourism associations in the program.
The delegations inspected the Gia Lai Provincial Convention Center, assessing its facilities and potential to host conferences, seminars and MICE tourism activities.
Participants also explored local cultural and heritage products, including mask painting for hát bội, or classical Vietnamese opera, and learned about the traditional performing art and Phú Gia conical hats.
They attended the “Essence of the Heritage Land” art program and visited the Twin Towers in Quy Nhơn Ward and Làng Sông Minor Seminary in Tuy Phước Commune.
The survey gave travel companies an opportunity to directly assess Gia Lai’s tourism products, services and potential for developing tour programs.
It also enabled local tourism service providers to connect with prospective partners, explore cooperation opportunities and introduce their products to key target markets.
The second Vietnam Travel Day 2026 runs from August 13 to 17 in Gia Lai Province as part of activities responding to the National Tourism Year – Gia Lai 2026, themed “Mountains embrace the blue sea”.
The event serves as a major tourism promotion forum for Vietnam’s travel industry, with organizers expecting it to strengthen Gia Lai’s tourism profile, attract investment in tourism and services, and expand links between the province and major domestic and international tourism centers.
