The Pleiku Museum will display images, documents and artifacts from the Rộc Tưng - Gò Đá early paleolithic archaeological site on February 20-21, coinciding with the fourth and fifth days of the Lunar New Year and the festival marking the 237th anniversary of the Ngọc Hồi - Đống Đa Victory.

The two-day exhibition, held at the Tây Sơn Thượng Đạo Exhibition House in An Khê Ward, Gia Lai Province, will feature about 50 photographs, excerpts and artifacts.

The showcase is divided into two sections. The first presents documents, images and objects illustrating the site’s landscape, archaeological excavations, press briefings and academic seminars. The second highlights preservation efforts, including official zoning and protection documents, on-site conservation facility development, exhibitions, visitor services, and research publications related to the site.

Recognized as a special national monument in 2022, the Rộc Tưng - Gò Đá site is one of Vietnam’s key early paleolithic discoveries. Museum officials said the exhibition aims to strengthen public understanding of its archaeological value and encourage community participation in heritage preservation.
