Nearly 40 content creators and key opinion leaders (KOLs) from across Gia Lai province have joined a cultural and culinary exploration programme aimed at promoting local tourism and the 2026 Gong Festival and Wild Sunflower - Chư Đang Ya Volcano Week through digital platforms.

The two-day programme, titled “Touch the Essence of Gia Lai 2026 - A Journey to explore the culture, cuisine and festivals of the Gia Lai Highlands,” took place on October 31 and November 1.

It was organised by the Gia Lai Digital Faith Club under the provincial police in collaboration with WAO Agency Communications Company.

The initiative was launched in response to a call from the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee to strengthen digital communications and promotion of the Gong Festival and Wild Sunflower – Chư Đang Ya Volcano Week 2026.

Participants explored the wild sunflower season around Chư Đang Ya volcano, experienced the distinctive Gong cultural space and learned stories about the province's cuisine, people and tourism destinations.

A highlight was the “Touch the Flavour of Gia Lai” gala on the evening of November 1, where content creators, KOLs, delegates, guests and sponsors discussed the role and responsibilities of digital creators in promoting local culture, cuisine and tourism.
