Organized in collaboration with Ha An Equipment Co., Ltd., the competition marked the school’s debut in robotics events, designed to encourage students to apply interdisciplinary knowledge to practical challenges while strengthening logical thinking and innovation.
The contest featured two main categories: the Teamwork Challenge and the Robot Skills Challenge. In the Teamwork Challenge, teams were randomly paired into alliances, requiring two robots to coordinate strategies and maximize scores on the field.
The Robot Skills Challenge saw teams compete individually in Autonomous Coding and Driver Controlled segments, testing both programming precision and manual operation.
Participants were evaluated across multiple criteria, including on-field performance, strategic execution, robot design, autonomous programming, and the quality of engineering documentation. Judges also assessed teams through interviews and the completeness of their design and coding processes.
Team HVR5 (Voi Ma Mút) secured first prize in the Robot Skills Challenge and, alongside team HVR8 (KDN-BD Robotics), won the Teamwork Challenge championship. HVR5 also received the overall top honor of the competition.
Additional awards recognized a range of achievements. The Potential Award went to teams HVR7 (Bông hoa thanh quế), HVR9 (Googo Gaga), and HVR10 (Cho Team). Team HVR8 received the Sportsmanship Award, while HVR3 (Ngũ Hành Sơn) won the Energy Award. Other honors included the Construction Award for HVR4 (Đắng Band), Programming Award for HVR1 (C3A - 2528), Creativity Award for HVR2 (Canh tác hào quang), and Design Award for HVR6 (VICAT).
The organizing committee also commended teachers Nguyễn Thị Liêu Na and Võ Văn Tú for their contributions.
The event drew strong engagement from students and faculty, with teams demonstrating effective coordination, adaptability and competitive confidence. Organizers said the competition aimed to inspire interest in scientific research while reinforcing teamwork and creative problem-solving.
The school said the initiative reflects its commitment to comprehensive education, combining theory with practical application in line with evolving demands in the digital era.
