Nearly 600 athletes compete in national pickleball Lang Tay coffee open nasami Cup

Nearly 600 athletes from provinces and cities nationwide gathered in Dien Hong Ward, Gia Lai Province, on October 18 for the pickleball Lang Tay coffee Open Nasami Cup, one of Vietnam’s largest pickleball tournaments.

The two-day event, held on October 18–19, features six competition categories, 4.3, 4.9, 5.3, 5.8, 6.5, and an invitational group, with matches taking place at three venues: Pickleball Khánh Quỳnh, Pickleball N-Joy, and Pickleball Khải Hưng.

Among the notable participants are Đắc Tiến, Sophia Phương Anh, Hoàng Samurai, Tùng Hải Phòng, Nicholas, and Bá Trọng. On the first day, athletes compete in the 4.3, 5.3, and 5.8 brackets, while the remaining 4.9, 6.5, and invitational matches take place on October 19.

Players are divided into 21 groups and compete in a round-robin format to determine top performers who will advance to the knockout stage.

Organizers will award one first prize, one second prize, and two third prizes in each category, with total prize money amounting to 200 million VND (approximately USD 7,800).
