Online voting opens for top 10 finalists in Gia Lai youth tourism contest

The Gia Lai provincial Youth Union on October 7 announced the 10 video clips shortlisted for the online voting round of the “Gia Lai youth and tourism development” contest 2025.

From 77 submissions in the preliminary round, organizers selected the top 10 entries showcasing Gia Lai’s culture, landscapes, and people. Featured clips include “Pleiku prison-Where memories become immortal” by Nguyễn Hữu Hiếu from the Gia Lai provincial police Youth Union; “Nhơn Hải fishing village - A symphony of waves and wind” by the youth branch of the investigation security department; “Gia Lai: The Lạc Hồng journey - From Highlands to the sea” by Trần Bảo Châu; and “Kon Ka Kinh National Park-Touching the legend of the great forest” by Lê Thị Lan Hương.

Other entries are “Hoài Nhơn-Where culture, the sea, and humanity converge” by Bùi Nguyễn Thế Vinh; “Experiencing the traditional rice paper craft” by Phan Yến; “Culture in every ancient brick” by the Vietnamese studies group of Quy Nhơn University; “Pristine fishing villages around Mũi Vi Rồng” by Nguyễn Phan Đăng Quân; “The heart of the Central Highlands” by Ia Khươl commune Youth Union; and “Specialties: shrimp noodle soup, crab noodle soup” by Bình Dương Commune Youth Union.

The online voting round runs from October 7 to 2:00 p.m. on October 10, 2025, via the Tuổi trẻ Gia Lai Facebook fanpage. Contestants are encouraged to promote their videos to gather likes, positive reactions, shares, and comments.

According to the organizing committee, winners will be selected based on public engagement, video quality, and recommendations from the judging panel. Prizes will include one first, one second, and one third prize for group entries, and one first, two second, three third, and four consolation prizes for individual entries.

The awards ceremony is set for the evening of October 12, 2025, with cash prizes totaling estimated 20 million VND (approx. USD 780) across categories.
