TasteAtlas names 100 best Vietnamese dishes, highlighting global appeal of local cuisine

TasteAtlas has released its latest ranking of the 100 best dishes in Vietnam, based on 8,499 diner reviews collected as of January 10, 2026. The culinary platform validated 5,537 of those ratings to compile the list.

Roast pork bánh mì topped the chart, followed by Southern-style beef noodle soup (bún bò Nam bộ), beef phở, mì Quảng, bún chả, beef stew (bò kho), Huế-style beef noodle soup (bún bò Huế), stir-fried water spinach with garlic, and shaking beef (bò lúc lắc).

Other widely recognised dishes in the top 100 include bánh xèo (18th), bún riêu (20th), cơm tấm (22nd), bánh cuốn (38th), bánh tét (42nd), hủ tiếu (45th), cháo lòng (52nd), bún chả cá (58th), and chả cá Lã Vọng (78th).

TasteAtlas said the ranking reflects the growing global interest in Vietnamese cuisine, which is known for its diverse ingredients and emphasis on balanced flavours and nutrition.

Over the past year, Vietnamese dishes have appeared frequently in international culinary rankings, securing high placements across regional and global lists.
