(GLO) – On the afternoon of February 13, the People’s Committee of Nhơn Châu Commune held a grand inauguration ceremony for the decorative installation and the cluster of mascots welcoming the Year of the Horse 2026, creating a vibrant highlight for the island commune’s festive New Year atmosphere.

The display features two contrasting yet complementary artistic styles, carefully crafted to reflect both strength and warmth in the festive season.

At the centre stands a trio of Tuấn Mã horses in dominant gold and brown tones, captured in a dynamic galloping pose. The powerful imagery symbolises dynamism, determination and aspirations for growth among the local community in the year ahead.

Alongside them is an animated horse family, personified and dressed in traditional áo dài, smiling brightly. The design conveys messages of reunion, prosperity and the spirit of friendliness and hospitality.

Dương Hiệp Hưng, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Nhon Chau Commune, said the installation not only brings a refreshed festive atmosphere to the locality during Tet but is also expected to become a popular check-in destination for residents and visitors to Cù Lao Xanh island.
