‘Say Hi Rực Rỡ’ music festival draws crowds to Cù Lao Xanh after reality show filming

Artists participating in the reality TV show “Say Hi Rực Rỡ” held a lively music exchange on Cù Lao Xanh island on the evening of May 21, attracting large crowds of local residents and tourists after three days of filming on the island.

Held in Nhơn Châu island commune in Gia Lai province, the event featured energetic performances of songs including “Pickleball,” “Tháng năm đẹp nhất cuộc đời” (The Most Beautiful Years of Life),

“Theo anh” (Follow Me) and “Đón bình minh” (Welcoming the Dawn), creating an emotional and festive atmosphere against the island backdrop.

The music night served both as entertainment for residents and visitors and as a key moment in the artists’ filming journey for “Say Hi Rực Rỡ,” helping strengthen connections between performers and the local community.

Organizers described the event as a gesture of gratitude from the production crew and artists to local authorities and residents for their support throughout the filming process on Cù Lao Xanh.

Singer Anh Tú said filming on the island had been a memorable experience.

“The days filming on Cù Lao Xanh were a truly special experience for me. Not only did I get to explore the stunning natural scenery and the peaceful island atmosphere, but I also felt the warmth and friendliness of the local people,” he said.

“I hope that when ‘Say Hi Rực Rỡ’ airs, audiences across the country will learn more about Cù Lao Xanh and Gia Lai”.

Audience members enthusiastically interacted with the performers, taking photos and cheering throughout the evening.

Hoàng Thị Thu Trang, a visitor from Quy Nhơn ward, said she traveled to the island to support singer Hùng Huỳnh.

“This is my first time visiting Cù Lao Xanh to support singer Hùng Huỳnh, so I’m very excited”, she said. “The atmosphere here is lively and fun, the people are friendly, and the seascape is beautiful”.

She added that she hoped more reality TV programs and cultural events would be organized on the island to help promote tourism in Cù Lao Xanh and Gia Lai province.

Local residents also welcomed the decision to use the island as a filming location for a large-scale reality TV production, saying it created excitement and pride within the community.

Nguyễn Khánh Nguyên, from Tây hamlet in Nhơn Châu commune, said the island had been hosting a range of activities as part of National Tourism Year – Gia Lai 2026.

“Having the program filmed on Cù Lao Xanh, with the participation of many famous artists, makes the locals very happy and proud”, she said.

“We also hope that through the show, more people will discover the beautiful scenery, friendly people, and tourism potential of our area”.

“Say Hi Rực Rỡ” is a survival reality show with a core spirit of being real, wild, and brotherly.

The program combines nature experiences, cultural exploration, and survival skills, divided into two journey segments—forest and sea—each featuring contrasting challenges.

Filming locations include Kon Ka Kinh National Park and Cù Lao Xanh island—two prominent sites renowned for their pristine beauty and rich cultural identity in Gia Lai.

Through the artists’ journey, the show aims to promote the nature, culture, and people of Gia Lai to a wide national audience, and is one of the activities in response to the National Tourism Year – Gia Lai 2026.

Participating artists include Đức Phúc, Isaac, WEAN, Dương Domic, HURRYKNG, Rhyder, JSOL, Gemini Hùng Huỳnh, Nicky, Pháp Kiều, Anh Tú, Gin Tuấn Kiệt, Phạm Anh Duy, Vũ Thịnh, Phạm Đình Thái Ngân, ERIK, Ali Hoàng Dương, and Đỗ Phú Quí.

“Say Hi Rực Rỡ” is scheduled to air from June 2026, broadcast every Sunday night at 8:00 p.m. on HTV2, 8:30 p.m. on HTV7, and on the VieON entertainment platform.
