The installation, announced on April 29 by the Gia Lai Provincial Association of Literature and Arts in coordination with local partners, is part of ongoing efforts to expand public art and enhance the urban landscape.

The newly displayed pieces add to a broader initiative launched earlier this year. From 54 design submissions by 34 sculptors nationwide for the province’s first sculpture creation camp in 2025, an art council selected 14 works for their cultural symbolism and suitability for public display. These selected sculptures are scheduled to be constructed and installed at Hội Phú Stream starting in August 2025.

In addition to those works, 11 further sculptures have now been completed and exhibited, funded through social contributions. Organisers say the expansion aims to bring art closer to the public while enriching the visual and cultural environment of the area.

Đặng Công Hưng, Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial Literature and Arts Association, said the newly installed sculptures are expected to attract both residents and visitors, particularly during the April 30 and May 1 holiday period.
