According to the company’s document submitted to the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, Hoang Anh Gia Lai will plant an additional 2,000 hectares of Arabica coffee, increasing its total coffee cultivation area to 3,000 hectares by the end of 2025. Between 2026 and 2027, the company plans to add 3,500 hectares of coffee annually, bringing total cultivation to 10,000 hectares, with 70% Arabica and 30% Robusta.
The agricultural group also aims to expand durian plantations by 1,000 hectares, reaching a total of 3,000 hectares by 2027.
To support this growth, Hoang Anh Gia Lai will build two large-scale coffee processing plants, one in Laos with a capacity of 1,500 tons per day, and another in Vietnam with a capacity of 700 tons per day. Both facilities will employ advanced technologies to produce high-quality green coffee beans, capitalizing on favorable soil and climate conditions in the region.
In addition, the company plans to invest in a cold storage system for frozen durian covering 20,000 square meters, alongside three durian processing plants in Laos and Vietnam.
As part of its strategy to diversify capital and business operations, Hoang Anh Gia Lai will list two subsidiaries: Hung Thang Loi Gia Lai Co., Ltd. in 2026 and Gia Suc Lo Pang Joint Stock Company in 2027.
At its April 2025 annual shareholders’ meeting, Chairman Duc revealed the company’s intention to expand into new crops, including mulberry for silk production and coffee cultivation for export.
For the first nine months of 2025, Hoang Anh Gia Lai reported net revenue exceeding VND 5,600 billion (approximately USD 221 million), up 34% year-on-year. After-tax profit surged 54% to VND 1,312 billion (USD 52 million). As of September 2025, total assets reached VND 27,744 billion (USD 1.09 billion), a 25% increase from the start of the year.
On the stock market, HAG shares hit the daily ceiling, rising to VND 16,950 per share in the October 29 session, and have surged nearly 41% since the start of 2025.
