Hoang Anh Gia Lai to break ground on US$24-million high-rise project in Gia Lai

Hoang Anh Gia Lai Group (HAGL) will break ground on its Phu Dong High-Rise Residential and Commercial Complex on January 18 in Pleiku Ward, Gia Lai Province, according to the company.

The project, valued at more than VND 591 billion (about USD 24 million), was approved by the Gia Lai Provincial People’s Committee in early December 2025. It will be built on a 6,993-square-metre site on Nguyen Tat Thanh Street, adjacent to the Muong Thanh Grand Hotel and near the Phu Dong roundabout.

Designed with a construction density of 60 percent, the development will comprise an 80-metre tower with 22 floors and a total floor area of 77,205 square metres. The plan includes two basement levels for parking and technical space measuring 10,000 square metres and three commercial podium floors covering 11,329 square metres.

The residential component, spanning the 3rd to 22nd floors with a total floor area of 54,617 square metres, will supply 610 apartment units. The developer expects the complex to accommodate a community of approximately 1,830 residents once completed.
