Organized by the Gia Lai Provincial Mathematics Association, the event featured four presentations delivered by experienced educators and master’s degree holders, each addressing high-applicability methods for teaching and training talented mathematics students.
Mr. Huỳnh Duy Thủy, Vice President of the Gia Lai Mathematics Association, opened the program with a session on applying divisibility, factors, multiples, prime numbers, and perfect squares to problem-solving for advanced secondary students.
APC Gia Lai Principal Đàm Văn Ngọc followed with a presentation on isogonal conjugates, symmedians, and their uses in tackling geometry problems at the secondary level.
The seminar also highlighted combinatorics techniques through the topic “Double counting methods,” presented by Mr. Huỳnh Thanh Luân of Hùng Vương High School for the Gifted, who provided practical examples to support classroom application.
Mr. Trần Minh Vũ, also from Hùng Vương High School for the Gifted, concluded the academic program with insights on transitioning from mathematical equalities to inequalities in competition settings, as well as his experience training AI models to solve inequality problems.
Beyond the technical sessions, the event offered a platform for teachers to exchange best practices, update advanced mathematics knowledge aligned with the 2018 General Education Program, and strengthen professional networks toward building a mathematics academic community in Gia Lai.
