The Gia Lai Provincial Museum and the Quang Trung Museum are undertaking extensive upgrades ahead of the 2026 Lunar New Year, preparing refreshed exhibition spaces, landscaped grounds, and improved visitor services to meet the surge of holiday tourists.

Staff at the Gia Lai Provincial Museum are completing artifact arrangements, updating displays, and refurbishing exhibition rooms to create a more engaging environment.

Director Bùi Tĩnh said Tet is the museum’s peak season, drawing local, domestic, and international visitors to explore regional history and Cham heritage sites. Duty schedules and guide assignments have already been arranged.

The museum is also updating explanations for regular exhibitions and highlighting key collections on Gia Lai’s history, local ethnic cultures, and revolutionary milestones.

According to Hoàng Yến, exhibition spaces have been reorganized and display pedestals repainted, while the museum’s outdoor areas have been landscaped to offer a green, open setting for springtime visitors.

Acting Deputy Director Nguyễn Văn Tấn said coordination with local authorities is underway to ensure a solemn and vibrant festival.
