Organized by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Pleiku Ward in partnership with the ward’s Center for Culture, Information and Sports, the event created a festive atmosphere that organizers said helped foster community pride in the early days of the Lunar New Year.
The program featured 12 singing, dancing and musical performances praising the Communist Party, President Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam’s revolutionary tradition and the country’s achievements during the renewal period. Performers included members of the Women’s Union, Veterans’ Association, youth union members and local grassroots art groups.
During the event, the Fatherland Front Committee and supporting benefactors distributed 100 gifts to poor, near-poor, disadvantaged and vulnerable households, with each package valued at 650,000 VND (about USD 26.50). The support aimed to help families celebrate a warmer and more joyful Lunar New Year.
The committee also presented letters of appreciation to businesses and philanthropists for their contributions to local social welfare initiatives, highlighting ongoing community solidarity efforts.
The cultural program marked the success of the 14th National Party Congress and commemorated the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam, observed on February 3, 2026.
