Quy Nhon City is stepping up efforts to strengthen its global tourism profile, with local authorities urged to turn the city into a leading destination following its inclusion in Lonely Planet’s list of the world’s top 25 destinations for 2026.

During a working session on November 1 with leaders of Quy Nhon’s wards and Nhon Chau Commune, Pham Anh Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial People’s Committee, emphasized the need to elevate the Quy Nhon tourism brand on the world tourism map.

He called on each locality to adopt a long-term vision aligned with Gia Lai Province’s broader development goals, particularly in urban development, commerce, services, and tourism.
