The weekly series will be available every Thursday on baogialai.com.vn and across the agency’s digital platforms.
Designed to replace traditional blackboards and four-walled classrooms, the program introduces open-air learning environments that connect students with nature, daily life, and local communities. Learners will explore lessons in real-world settings, such as beaches, farms, pottery workshops, and traditional craft villages, gaining a deeper appreciation of labor, culture, and environmental responsibility.
According to the producers, the initiative supports Vietnam’s Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW dated August 22, 2025, which calls for breakthroughs in education and training. The project also reflects a national push toward modern, creative teaching models that emphasize practical experience and character building.
Educators and parents have praised the program’s vision. “Children explore nature directly, develop cooperation skills, confidence, and solidarity”, said Ms. Trần Thị Thủy, Principal of Hoa Hồng Kindergarten in Pleiku Ward. “I hope this model will soon expand to all schools”.
Ms. Lục Triệu Diệu Hương from Lê Quý Đôn High School for the Gifted in Quy Nhơn Ward added: “The value of knowledge does not lie in grades, but in the ability to connect with the world around us. Students learn gratitude, labor spirit, and heritage preservation, the core goals of experiential education”.
Each episode will follow teachers and students through outdoor learning sessions, where instructors act as facilitators while students work in groups, interact with experts and local residents, and reflect on lessons through discussions and Q&A activities.
Mr. Nguyễn Đức Vinh, Principal of iSchool Quy Nhơn International Integration School, said the collaboration “allows teachers and students to freely develop their abilities in a new, friendly learning environment”.
Parents have also expressed enthusiasm: “My child comes home full of excitement,” said Ms. Đặng Thị Thủy, whose child attends Quy Nhơn Kindergarten. “We can’t wait to watch the broadcast together”.
According to Mr. Đoàn Minh Dưỡng, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Gia Lai Newspaper and Radio-Television, the program represents “an open learning space where knowledge is nurtured and developed. It’s our way of supporting local education and promoting lifelong learning in the digital age”.
The “Classroom without walls” program will be available on the website: baogialai.com.vn and across Gia Lai Newspaper and Radio-Television’s digital channels.
