The three-day event, running from October 17 to 19, features 80 booths and more than 300 showcased products from 68 units across Gia Lai and neighboring provinces, including Đắk Lắk and Quảng Ngãi.
The festival highlights over 60 branded items meeting OCOP and VietGAP standards, emphasizing the application of high-tech farming and sustainable practices.

“This year’s festival is organized on a large scale, bringing together participants from across Gia Lai. We aim to create opportunities for farmers to promote their products, strengthen cooperation in production and consumption, and exchange technological know-how,” said Mr. Y Khâm, Vice Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial Farmers’ Association.
Attending the opening ceremony were Ms. Huỳnh Thúy Vân, a member of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Council, alongside representatives from provincial departments and hundreds of farmer association members.

Visitors expressed strong enthusiasm for the event. “This is the first time I’ve seen such a diverse range of products from Bình Định and Gia Lai provinces. These items meet safety standards, so consumers like us feel very reassured,” said Ms. Nguyễn Thị Hồng Lĩnh from Thống Nhất Ward.

Local producers also saw the festival as a key opportunity to expand markets. “We brought specialties from Đề Gi Commune, sea fish, anchovy fish sauce, and clean salt made from our clear waters. We hope to introduce these to consumers in Gia Lai’s western region,” said Ms. Đinh Thị Kim Nguyên, a local farmer representative.
During the competition, products are evaluated based on criteria including local strengths, application of advanced production technology, market reputation, economic efficiency, and quality certification. Awards will be presented to the most outstanding agricultural products, with prizes valued up to 50 million VND (about USD 1,950).
