The festival, themed “Vietnam – Convergence and Spread,” is jointly organised by the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment and the Hanoi People’s Committee, and runs from December 20 to 23. It brings together outstanding OCOP (One Commune One Product) entities and products from across the country.
Within the festival framework, Gia Lai has set up a dedicated booth featuring products from 10 OCOP entities. Seven of these products have achieved the prestigious 5-star OCOP rating, including Dak Yang Coffee, Fine Robusta Coffee, Le Chi Organic Black Pepper, Le Chi Organic Red Pepper, Le Chi Organic White Pepper, Dalop Special M4 Sesame Rice Paper, and Phuong Di Honey. The province is also showcasing eight 4-star OCOP products and eight 3-star products.
At the opening ceremony, the Organising Committee honoured 22 outstanding national OCOP entities. These included five entities with products recognised at the national OCOP level at least twice, 15 entities with three or more nationally recognised OCOP products, among them Nam Yang Agricultural and Service Cooperative from Kon Gang Commune, Gia Lai Province, and two pioneering entities whose OCOP products were recognised nationally in rural tourism.
A major highlight of the festival is the unveiling of an oil painting more than 300 metres long, themed “Vietnam, The Country, Its People, and Achievements in New Rural Development.” The artwork has set a record as the longest landscape painting depicting Vietnam’s three regions, aiming to promote the spirit of new rural development and the OCOP programme.
The event also features “Vietnam OCOP livestream day,” promoting digital trade via the TikTok Shop platform, alongside cultural and artistic performances, craft exchanges between domestic and international artisans, a three-region culinary gala, ornamental bird colour shows, and other side activities.
Gia Lai’s participation at the Vietnam OCOP Festival 2025 underscores the growing reputation, quality and development potential of its agricultural products, supporting efforts to expand the province’s OCOP brand among domestic and international consumers.
