Mega concert ignites National Tourism Year - Gia Lai 2026 opening night

A star-studded Mega Concert launched the opening night of National Tourism Year - Gia Lai 2026, drawing tens of thousands of spectators to Nguyen Tat Thanh Square for an evening of high-energy performances and emotional resonance.

Hosted by Đức Bảo and Lương Thùy Linh, the event set the tone with a dynamic blend of music, light and audience engagement, positioning Gia Lai as an emerging destination with a youthful and contemporary identity.

The concert opened with an explosive performance of “Hermosa” by Buitruonglinh, Mason Nguyễn, Tez, CONGB and Sơn.K, immediately energising the crowd. Isaac followed with well-known hits including “Bống bống bang bang” and a mashup of “Gọi cho anh - Nơi anh không thuộc về”, prompting enthusiastic audience participation.

The atmosphere shifted as Lamoon delivered an emotional rendition of “Dương gian,” before returning to a lighter tone with a duet alongside Juky San. The programme maintained a steady emotional rhythm, alternating between vibrant and reflective performances.

As the night progressed, performances by HURRYKNG, NEGAV and Anh Tú intensified the atmosphere, culminating in a high-energy set by HIEUTHUHAI, whose appearance drew particularly strong reactions from younger audiences. Collaborative finales blurred the line between performers and spectators, sustaining momentum until the closing moments.

Audience engagement remained high throughout. Many attendees travelled from neighbouring areas to take part, including visitors from Gia Lai and Quảng Ngãi, underscoring the event’s broad appeal. Fans cheered, sang along and sought closer proximity to performers in designated zones.

Lamoon noted the emotional significance of performing in her hometown, while Sơn.K described the event as a milestone in his career and praised Gia Lai as a deserving host of the national tourism programme. Juky San also cited favourable weather and welcoming locals as memorable aspects of her visit.
