The draft report was delivered during a working session between Inspection and Supervision Team No. 21, led by Politburo member and Foreign Minister Lê Hoài Trung and the Standing Board of the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee.
The review focused on two key areas: the province’s leadership in implementing the 14th Party Congress Resolution and its organization of elections for deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils for the 2026-2031 term.
According to the delegation, Gia Lai demonstrated strong political commitment and a structured approach in disseminating and executing the Party’s Resolution. Authorities effectively transitioned from basic study to “deep understanding, correct action and thorough implementation”, supported by clear and detailed directives that enabled grassroots-level execution.
The province also made notable use of digital tools, including online platforms and quizzes, to assess officials’ understanding of Party policies. Communication efforts were adapted to ethnic minority communities through diverse and accessible methods, helping integrate Party directives into daily life.
The delegation further praised the province’s organization of the March 15 election, which ensured democratic, equal and safe conditions. All 16 National Assembly deputies and 85 provincial People’s Council members were elected without the need for re-voting.
Looking ahead, Lê Hoài Trung urged provincial authorities to continue refining their leadership approach and to finalize an action program by March 2026. He called for all subordinate Party committees to update their plans in line with practical conditions, ensuring clear responsibilities, resources, timelines and outcomes, alongside transparency in progress and accountability.
He also highlighted a forthcoming 2026-2030 cooperation plan between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Gia Lai, aimed at boosting economic diplomacy, attracting investment and supporting key sectors such as industry, high-tech agriculture, trade and logistics.
Provincial Party Secretary Thái Đại Ngọc said the province would incorporate the delegation’s guidance into concrete plans, address existing limitations and leverage internal strengths to meet development targets. Gia Lai aims to become a moderately developed province nationwide by 2030, he added.
