More than 1,300 students explore technology projects at FPT University Quy Nhon

More than 1,300 12th-grade students from Vietnam’s Gia Lai province participated in a technology project experience event on January 18 at FPT University’s Quy Nhon campus, where they explored student-developed innovations and learned about career pathways in the digital era.

During the event, students interacted directly with a series of technology applications created by FPT University students, including a robotic arm, a smart-farm model, gesture-controlled predator games, autonomous-driving demonstrations, and intelligent navigation maps.

Experts also briefed participants on trends in Information Technology, Business Administration, and Digital Art Design, with guidance on choosing fields aligned with their strengths and interests. A talk-show format enabled students to engage speakers with questions about industry demands and job market expectations.

Students from local high schools attended more than 25 trial classes across multiple disciplines, joined club activities, and visited project booths in the university’s student startup area.

According to the organizers, the program was designed to provide high school students with practical exposure to university learning environments and emerging professions, helping them make informed decisions about future study and career paths amid digital transformation and international integration.
