According to official reports, the storm caused severe destruction, leaving two people dead and six injured. More than 200 houses were completely destroyed, while over 23,870 homes were damaged or lost their roofs.
In addition, 57 boats sank, 344 aquaculture cages were ruined, and many business facilities, transportation routes and irrigation systems suffered extensive damage.
Authorities estimated total economic losses at more than VND 5,200 billion (approximately USD 210 million).
In response, the Fatherland Front Committee called on government officials, civil servants, armed forces personnel and those paid from the state budget to donate at least one day’s salary.
Employees in agencies, enterprises, and organizations are encouraged to contribute one day’s income, while members of unions, associations, youth groups, and households with average or higher incomes are asked to donate between VND 50,000 and VND 100,000 (USD 2–4) or essential goods.
The donation campaign will run from November 10 to December 10, 2025, under the spirit of solidarity embodied in the saying: “A morsel in times of need is worth a feast in times of plenty”.
