Accompanying him were Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Phạm Anh Tuấn, Standing Vice Chairman Nguyễn Tuấn Thanh and leaders of provincial departments and agencies.

According to the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the province aims to accelerate service and tourism growth and implement its strategy for sustainable marine economic development to 2030, with a vision to 2045.
Under the Provincial People’s Committee’s plan, around 2,561 fishing vessels will be relocated to Tam Quan Fishing Port, including 469 from Quy Nhơn and 2,092 from Đề Gi.
To accommodate the move, Gia Lai is considering expanding Tam Quan Fishing Port and its anchorage by about 95 hectares and developing a 30-hectare resettlement area for affected households.
The province has proposed revising its master plan for fishing ports and anchorage areas for the 2021–2030 period, with a vision to 2050, and requested budget allocations to support expansion and construction of a modern, centralized fisheries logistics hub.

Chairman Phạm Anh Tuấn said the relocation is essential for balancing economic development and marine sustainability, reducing fishing intensity, and supporting the province’s transition toward sustainable fisheries.
Relevant agencies have been tasked with finalizing a comprehensive master plan for the fisheries sector.

In his concluding remarks, Secretary Thái Đại Ngọc commended the province’s “deep thinking, big action” approach and called for continued acceleration of the provincial planning adjustments for 2021–2030, with a vision to 2050.
He emphasized the need for practical, feasible development roadmaps and specific solutions for each stage to ensure balanced socio-economic growth, national defense, and social welfare.

The provincial Party Chief also urged Party members and government officials to “think deeply and act boldly,” stay connected to grassroots realities, and promptly address obstacles to foster the province's development through unity and coordinated action.
