Approved by the Gia Lai Provincial People’s Committee in August 2023, the project covers nearly 75 hectares and focuses on the construction and operation of technical infrastructure for the industrial cluster.
Located along National Highway 19, the site links the Central Highlands with the South Central Coast, offering access to seaports, airports and international border gates. The location is expected to support logistics development and strengthen interregional supply chains.
According to the master plan, the industrial cluster will include synchronized technical infrastructure, internal transportation systems and flexible land reserves designed to accommodate both domestic and foreign investors.
The investor said the project is intended to become a modern and environmentally friendly industrial cluster aligned with sustainable development and environmental protection goals.
At the ceremony, representatives of Shinec Gia Lai Joint Stock Company committed to accelerating implementation and targeting completion within nine months from the groundbreaking date. The company also aims to develop the site into a model industrial cluster for Gia Lai province.
Speaking at the event, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyễn Hữu Quế said the project was expected to contribute to industrial growth, create jobs for local workers, increase budget revenues and support socio-economic development in Đak Đoa commune and Gia Lai province.
He urged the investor to allocate sufficient resources to ensure construction quality and meet the committed timeline, while complying with regulations on planning, land use, construction investment and environmental protection. He also called for stronger efforts to attract secondary investment projects.
During the ceremony, provincial leaders witnessed the signing of a cooperation agreement between Shinec Gia Lai Joint Stock Company and its partners, alongside the official launch of the project.
