Petrolimex Gia Lai One Member Limited Liability Company will fully transition all of its retail fuel outlets to E10 RON 95-III and V biofuel from June 1, 2026, ending the sale of conventional gasoline across its entire network.

The company said it has completed preparations for the transition, including technical infrastructure, storage tank systems and blending facilities, while securing sufficient supplies of base gasoline and ethanol for E10 biofuel production.

Petrolimex Gia Lai is currently cleaning and flushing storage tanks and conducting technical inspections to ensure safety standards are met before the fuel is introduced to the market.

The company has also started transporting E10 biofuel to selected outlets and testing ethanol content in storage tanks to ensure product quality before distribution to consumers.

A transition plan has been prepared for all 113 outlets operated by the company and the Petrolimex Pleiku Branch, as well as for distributors and franchise partners.

Beginning May 12, Petrolimex Gia Lai will start selling E10 biofuel at selected stations before expanding distribution to all retail outlets by May 25. From May 15, the company will begin supplying E10 RON 95-III to distributors and franchisees.

Following the full conversion on June 1, monthly E10 biofuel consumption is projected to reach between 9,500 and 10,000 cubic metres, according to the company.

The move forms part of a broader roadmap to promote green fuel adoption in line with policies set by the Vietnamese government and Gia Lai Province.
