The event, organised by the PAEC Association for Art Project and Cultural Exchange, features 28 Vietnamese and 23 French artists, presenting more than 150 works spanning painting, photography, sculpture and installation art.
Representing Vietnam’s Central Highlands province of Gia Lai are artists Hồ Thị Xuân Thu and Mai Thị Kim Uyên, each contributing three lacquer paintings. Their works highlight regional cultural themes and capture the vitality of youth through vivid compositions.
The exhibition is described as an “unspoken dialogue” between Eastern and Western artistic traditions, reflecting diverse perspectives and creative expression.
Running from March 17 to 22, the event aims to strengthen artistic exchange and collaboration between Vietnam and France.
In addition to the exhibition, participating artists are hosting interactive sessions and live demonstrations, including traditional lacquer techniques and silk painting, offering visitors insight into both countries’ artistic practices.
