Nguyên Tiêu poetry night opens in Gia Lai with “Spring in harmony” theme

An art program celebrating the 24th Vietnam Poetry Day opened on 2 March at the Twin Towers Relic Site in Quy Nhon Ward, drawing provincial leaders, artists and a large audience.

Organised by the Gia Lai Provincial Association of Literature and Arts, the event featured poetry readings, music and dance under the theme “Spring in Harmony.”

Officials from the Provincial Party Committee’s Propaganda and Education and Mass Mobilization commissions, along with representatives from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, attended the opening.

The programme showcased notable poems including Ngựa qua từng chuyến by Yến Lan, Mùng ba Tết ngồi và ước by Văn Công Hùng, Bóng quê nhà by Mai Thìn, Người giữ lửa trong mưa by Lệ Thu, Những sớm mai by Hoàng Thanh Hương, Trong đêm đen ngọn đèn sưởi ấm by Nhiên Đăng, Niệm lành by Ngô Thanh Vân, Về Hầm Hô by Bùi Thị Xuân Mai and Phiên gác trẻ by Lữ Hồng.

With the theme “Spring in Harmony,” the art program not only honored the value of both traditional and contemporary poetry but also helped to spread the beauty of Gia Lai’s culture and people in the rhythm of modern life, creating a meaningful space for art appreciation.

It is known that on the evening of March 3, the Nguyên Tiêu Poetry Night art program will continue to be held at Đại Đoàn Kết Square (Pleiku Ward).
