His company now supplies 3–4 tons of VietGAP-certified vegetables daily to supermarket chains nationwide, generating annual revenue of 19 billion VND (USD 741,000) and average profits of 2.9 billion VND (USD 113,000).

From a single family-built greenhouse in 2012, Hương đất An Phú has grown to 8 hectares of production area, with an additional 3 hectares cultivated in partnership with local households. Today, its products are available at Co.opmart, VinMart, Aeon, and clean food stores across Vietnam.
The company employs nearly 70 local workers, offering monthly salaries averaging 7 million VND (USD 273) and up to 10 million VND (USD 390) for some positions, along with full insurance and training in VietGAP standards.
Mechanization and automation in land preparation, irrigation, and fertilization have helped streamline production while maintaining quality.

Phong, 34, left a stable job in Ho Chi Minh City after graduating in Business Administration from Van Lang University to pursue his passion for clean agriculture in his hometown of An Phú Ward.
He invested in greenhouses, drip irrigation, and modern cultivation techniques to establish a sustainable, safe vegetable production model.

Under his leadership, Hương đất An Phú has prioritized reputation and consumer trust, enforcing strict quality control from seed selection to final processing.
The company plans to expand production and distribution channels, integrate biotechnology and traceability systems, and invest in a new ISO 22000:2018 and HACCP-compliant processing plant in An Phú.

Beyond business success, the company contributes to social welfare initiatives, including rural development projects and scholarships for disadvantaged students.
Local officials praised Hương đất An Phú’s role in transforming the agricultural landscape.
“The company has pioneered VietGAP production in An Phú, building a strong brand and providing stable jobs for many residents,” said Nguyễn Tất Thắng, Deputy Head of the Economic, Infrastructure, and Urban Affairs Office of An Phú Ward.
Phong’s recognition as one of 63 farmers nationwide to receive the “Excellent Vietnamese Farmer” award in 2025 highlights more than a decade of dedication to clean agriculture and community-driven development.
